Matt brings over a decade of experience as a Paraplanner at Thrivent Financial before joining Cana Wealth Management as a Wealth Advisor. He earned his CFP® designation in August 2024 and is currently pursuing the TPCP® designation through the American College of Financial Services.
He graduated from Valparaiso University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science and a minor in Mathematics.
As a Wealth Advisor, Matt meets with clients to answer questions, assists them in creating and implementing financial plans, and empowers them to achieve their goals. His clients can always expect attention to detail, dedication, and a personable, kindhearted, and energetic approach.
Outside of work, he enjoys creating memories with his family. Matt has been married for five years to a loving and supportive wife, and together they have an energetic two-year-old daughter, with another girl due in October 2026. He is fully embracing the “girl dad” life. Matt is an active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, where he serves others and volunteers to further God's kingdom. He loves watching and playing sports, especially basketball, softball, and golf. He is an avid Chicago sports fan.
